Unlock Your Potential with Coach BettyAnn

Examples of how a coach can help:

Success and happiness come from within. It is important to have healthy self-esteem, confidence, know your core values, your strengths.  Our personal strengths come through in all areas of our lives, from quiet time alone, relationships, work environments, hobbies.

As your coach, I will work with you to replace negative self-talk with thoughts with words and ideas that will help you to achieve your goals in your personal and professional life.  During the process you will develop confidence in your abilities and release past discouraging thoughts.

*Goal Setting -

Working with a coach will help you identify what it is you wish to achieve. Together we can develop a plan of action that includes what is needed and the steps to get to the goal. This is the first step in going forward. Below are just a few examples of typical goals folks want to work toward are:

*Time Management:   Juggling responsibilities can be overwhelming and need to be eased. By taking a look at your day, week, you can prioritize and set a plan that will flow smoother and help you accomplish your tasks easier. Putting your plan in writing helps you focus on what is at hand. Your plan does not need to be written in stone as changes may be necessary.

*Stress Control can help you have a more relaxed routine.  First the sources need to be identified, ways can be found to ease, manage or eliminate some of them.

*Self-Esteem and Confidence can be improved. Working with a coach will help you identify your strengths so you can build on them and strengthen your weaknesses. You will overcome your limiting beliefs and challenges and reach new levels.

*Release and replace Negative Self Talk: Let  go of the verbally abusive words and attitudes you have lived with and replace them with self-talk that is healthy and positive. Dare to move forward with confidence.

*De-cluttering and Organizing  – How much time is spent looking for something? Working around “stuff” you never use that always seem to be in the way? First step is to cluster items together to enable you to see and know what you already have, and where they are. If you have multiple numbers of something you can choose to release some making your environment more attractive and efficient. Start with one area at a time and you’ll be surprised at the difference you can make.

*Weight Loss Support – Would you like some tools to use along your path to releasing weight?  While I am not a nutritionist, we can identify habits that hinder your success, help you to follow a weight loss plan, identify ways to fill gratification needs with positive activities, to take your focus off old eating habits.  We can identify foods and snacks that may appeal to you and how you can fit them into your new routines.  Again, I’m not medically trained, but have support tools and information that can help.  (You are responsible for following the advice of your doctors.)

*Setting Boundaries – In your personal and professional life, with others and also for yourself, it is important to set boundaries and limitations. Learning to respect ourselves enough to identify our needs and take care of ourselves is important.  Boundaries help with clarity in relationships and make our lives go smoother, reduce stress and help manage our time better.

*Transitions - Are a natural part of life that happen all the time. They come in all sizes and shapes. Even one that is desired can be undaunting and worthy of attention. You can work with your coach to look over the transition process and what your needs will be to make the change go smoother.

*Healthier Living - Create new habits in order to feel healthier, and happier. Learning what works for you in improving your health can be very rewarding. Coaching can help you track your choices, improve determination, maintain a positive attitude, hold you accountable. Looking at your Time-Management, meditation practices (quiet time for you), self-esteem, all these and more can help you gain a Healthier Living style.

**Mindfulness - Learning to become more aware of the present moment and what is around you at the present time. Mindfulness training will include showing you how to distance yourself enough so you can look at the moment or situation, objectively allowing for better clarity.

**Meditation - A Great tool to help reduce stress, help you focus and improve your general well-being. Practicing meditation is done in several ways that involves clearing your mind and relaxing. Some examples are simply sitting and clearing your mind, guided meditations lasting a short time to sitting in specific postures for expended periods of time.

**HYPNOSIS – Often it is useful to add some Hypnosis to Coaching to allow the client to reach their goals faster and with more success.  See the page on Hypnosis for more information.

The above is not a complete list of areas we can work on, but gives you examples of what you can benefit from.  Each person and situation is unique and will require work that is individualized. *What’s your bigger vision? Is there something holding you back? Are you ready to step outside your comfort zone and develop new levels of comfort?
