Working With Me
WHAT TO EXPECT
Working with a Coach can be fun and exciting, as well as challenging and encouraging.
During your first meeting you will be asked to fill out a form or two. This will help you and your Coach identify what you want to work on and what you want to accomplish. You will discuss the next step for you and set up your initial plan. The Coach may give you some homework in preparation for your next session and to get you started moving forward. Below you’ll find the basic steps we will follow.
Sessions will be somewhat different for each client or group, tailored to the specific needs of the clients. Topics may include discovering your core values, passions, learning and functioning styles, priorities. You will be encouraged to replace negative self talk and identify your strengths and talents. In order to reach your goals your whole person will be considered.
In order to reach your goals you must be committed to doing the work, taking the steps to move forward and reach success. Sessions are held in person one to one, in a group setting, by phone or Zoom. You can expect a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. We will meet regularly with check-ins between meetings. If an obstacle or challenge arises we will identify solutions.

Planning and Reaching Your Goals
What changes would you like to make? Something new to accomplish?
Jot your ideas down and think about what you would like to see improve. Or perhaps you’d like to learn a new skill. You may need to get ready to make a significant transition.
SMART Goal Writing
Together, you put pen to paper and do your goal planning. Have you heard of the SMART Method? Each of your goals will be: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Now you have your initial plan in place. Adjustments may need to be made as you move forward, but you’ve taken action just by doing your goals!
Moving Forward
You make a solid commitment to reach your goal and begin to take action. You may leave your comfort zone as you go forward, but your successes will be worth it. As you work through your goal plan you make want to alter parts of your goals or need to adjust the steps. That is just part of the process. You may add new goals as you go, or/and delete one. You will be accountable to meet your time frame and I will encourage you all the way.
