A Coach is for folks who want to go into the future. They will help you identify your goals and work with you to achieve those goals by using questions, tools, challenges and encouragement. You may occasionally glance back at past experiences to help you go forward but your focus will be on the present moment and the future. You will come to recognize your strengths and skills. Coaches help you find the answers that you have within yourself. You will learn to develop new habits.
Folks work with a Coach for many different reasons. Retirement changes, weight loss, gain more confidence, find your joy, time management, career changes, business goals – are just some of the goals a coach can help with.
A Coach is not a counselor, consultant, therapist, mentor, psychologist.
If you have had major trauma, suffer from deep depression, have psychological problems you need to seek additional help from a professional trained in your specific area of need.
